Pool Parties During Regular Hours

1. Parties of six or more guests must be approved by submitting through our website here, at least 48 hours in advance. See additional rules below for parties of 12 or more.

  1. All members hosting parties of 12 persons or more (not to exceed 50 persons) must pay Spalding Woods Club, Inc. for extra lifeguards. This requires approval by the Pool Director and our pool facilities management company, seven days prior to the party.  A completed Customer Pool Party Request Form must be submitted. These may be obtained at Pool Party Request Form – United Pools
  2. All members hosting parties of 12 persons or more (not to exceed 50 persons) must pay for additional lifeguards, club fee and damage deposit. This requires approval by the Pool Director and our pool facilities management company, seven days prior to the party. Requests must be made through our website here,14 days before the requested reservation date. The request must provide the following information:
  • Member’s name and phone number(s)
  • Date, starting and ending time of the party.
  • Number of people scheduled to attend.
  • General age of the group
  • Type of function
  • Specific wording of invitations
  • A completed Customer Pool Party Request Form must be submitted. These may be obtained at Pool Party Request Form – United Pools
  1. All GENERAL Swimming Pool Rules apply, as provided in directory, with the exception of #4: if the number of guests is 10 or more, a check must be left with the head lifeguard or board representative for guest fees (payable to Spalding Woods Club, Inc.).
  2. All POOL SAFETY Rules apply, as provided in directory, with the exception of parties of 12 persons or more; regardless of age (see Swimming Pool Rules: Definitions and Pool Safety, #6) all party guests must clear the pool during “Adult Swim” periods, as called by lifeguards, so that regular members may swim laps, etc.
  3. When hosting a party, only two picnic tables may be reserved (if they are available).
  4. Regular members have the right to tables already occupied. Hosts should also try to contain party to one area of pool.
  5. Requests must be made 14 days before the requested reservation here.The request must provide the following information:
  • Member’s name and phone number(s)
  • Date, starting and ending time of the party.
  • Number of people scheduled to attend.
  • General age of the group
  • Type of function
  • Specific wording of invitations

  1. Member must be present during the entire event.
  2. Member is held personally responsible and liable for any and all actions, conduct, damage, injuries to the property and people.
  3. Cost: A deposit payable to Spalding Woods Club, Inc. is required with the written request.
  4. The number of required lifeguards is defined by our pool facilities management company.
  5. Deposit is fully refundable if there is no damage, garbage is in the dumpster and no additional cleanup resulting from the party is necessary.
  6. Member is required to provide one adult chaperone for every 10 people attending a teenage or college age party. Fraternity and/or sorority parties of any kind are not permitted.
  7. Cancellations are required 48 hours in advance of reservation and will be subject to SWC costs. SWC will make every effort to minimize costs on your behalf.
  8. Lifeguards are NOT responsible for trash pick-up after parties. Members (hosts) are responsible for leaving the pool, pool deck and bathrooms in clean condition.
  9. To maintain goodwill among members, hosts should encourage their guests to offer lounges and chairs to regular members.
  10. The Company shall bill the Customer for all Non-Standard Lifeguard Hours provided by the Company at the rate of $45.00 per lifeguard hour, with a minimum of $90.00 per event. In addition to the hourly lifeguard rate, the Company shall bill the Customer a processing fee of $35.00 for each Non-Standard Lifeguard event.
  11.  A guest at a party is defined as any participant attending, regardless of the intent to swim.
  12. Any unscheduled parties with 15 or more guests will be subject to a charge of $100.00. If emergency staffing is available, the rate will be $50.00/hour. If emergency staffing is not available, then the Company reserves the right to close/cancel the party if the party poses a safety risk.

Costs will vary depending on the number of guests and hours.
